Julie’s lessons are going great! Julie takes time to practice the different techniques that Abby teaches her and is excited to master and show Abby what she knows.

My personal opinion is that we couldn’t have asked for a better person (teacher). Not only is Abby professional in responding to questions & e-mails regarding times & communication regarding the lesson, but she is very knowledgeable in her profession. I especially enjoy her personal experiences in what helps her remember different techniques and sharing other students hints and reminders. Example: When Abby was young, her instructor made her do the dishes while holding the violin to teach her to hold it with her chin, not her hand & a student taught her a poem to remember the parts of the violin. I think this helps Julie by not reading a lesson book word for word & gives her different perspectives to help her learn. — Lisa in Maplewood
