Woodwind lessons are a fun and challenging way to learn a life-long skill.  Music is something you can take with you anywhere you go!  You can be any age and take woodwind instrument lessons.  Young students should be able to count and recite their ABC’s without assistance.  Most students start by taking half hour lessons and increase the lesson length when they are ready.

To learn more about instrument prerequisites please visit our Instrument Prerequisites page.

With Along Came Music all instrument lessons are completed in-home.  Your teacher travels to you and conducts the lesson where you practice.  This allows the teacher to not only correct each student on a technical level, but also to resolve any poor habits that may arise due to the practice environment.  Woodwind instrument lessons can be conducted in a variety of styles, most commonly classical or contemporary.
