Kyle M.

Kyle is a guitar, bass guitar and beginning piano instructor.

Kyle is a Minneapolis, Minnesota native and a graduate of McNally Smith College of Music with an Associate of Applied Science degree in Audio Engineering. In addition to his degree, Kyle minored in Guitar Performance. He began playing the guitar at age 12 and hasn’t been able to put it down since. Kyle has written, composed and performed his original music with numerous groups across the Twin Cities.

Some of Kyle’s influences include Derek Trucks Band, Eric Clapton, John Mayer, Stevie Wonder, Stevie Ray Vaughn, and many other artists of all different genres. He has been teaching guitar to students of all ages for the past five years and loves every minute of it! As an experienced guitar player, Kyle is committed to sharing his knowledge and passion for music with others.

Aside from teaching guitar, Kyle is an audio engineer and producer at MONKEYPOD Recording: a full-service recording studio in Excelsior, Minnesota. It is there where he records, engineers and produces material for albums, theater performances, voice over projects and more.

Kyle doesn’t have just one designated teaching method. He knows that everyone has their own, individual way of learning and he is dedicated to teaching his students with the best method that fits their personality and learning style. Kyle is patient, fun, creative and has a great talent for listening to, and fulfilling his students’ needs and desires.
